Added 2020-08-23 20:13:02 +0000 UTCyou know, i see munroe daily, since an older painter of him has been my patreon header for Ages. but in all honesty i never developed him much as a character; he was originally created for a setting that no longer exists, and me and kubi never transferred him & his partner to any of our current settings... until now.
i’ve got to thank toreadorkable for bringing him back to my attention, as they mentioned munroe among the characters they’d like to see in one of my weekly pieces. i really felt like drawing him again + develop his story, basically starting over from scratch (tbh i didn’t remember too much of the original concept anyway). i never decided what his human form looked like, and as i was designing it now i got a better idea of his personality and vibe too. basically he looks like a rich asshole who has his shit together, but 1) he’s actually a walking disaster and 2) the preppy facade quickly comes crumbling down in favour of his ~true self~. thankfully, his boyfriend briar is immune to all of munroe’s bullshit, ranging all the way from coffee snobbery to drowning & devouring humans. a kelpie’s gotta do what a kelpie’s gotta do.
