all these options were based on patron suggestions, and many of them are combinations of ideas put forth by different people, which is always fun! "curse bearer" is coldau's idea, while both xan farley and marissa want to see a mantis-inspired monster. patrick m mentioned being really fond of happy-looking expressions, and who better to wear one than "the spirit of joy"? marissa and hasard originally suggested a centipede monster, which was seconded by CR. finally, nak and lostmisfits both wanted to see a bioluminescent design, and the latter also requested more nagas.
