IMPORTANT INFO - gonna pause the next billing cycle, you won't be charged for august

tl;dr:

- because of Life™ being Stressful™ and Kinda Awful™ i haven't been able to produce my usual content for august.

- for this reason i've decided to pause the next billing cycle, meaning that my patrons won't be charged for august on september 1st (patreon payments are retroactive, so when you get charged on the 1st of any month you're paying for the month that just ended.)*

- the only august things i'll post is the oc spotlight and the motm stuff - read more below!

- normal content production/posting will resume in september, along with normal billing, meaning that next time you'll get charged is on october 1st.

will i post ANY august content? 

- YES. there will be an august OC spotlight and there will be august monster of the month content (all the usual MOTM stuff). however i don't know how much of it i'll have time to finish before the end of august, so i'll likely post some of it in early september instead. in other words you'll get the content you voted on, but it might be a little late. either way you won't be charged for august, and either way there will also be a september OC spotlight and september MOTM content, just as usual. 

- there will be an august twitter shoutout to $20 patrons. 

- but there will NOT be any early access art, sketchdumps, close-ups, wallpapers, or $3 process packs in august. again, this is why i won't charge you anything for august--if i'm not posting content, you don't have to pay anything. 

why have i not been able to produce august stuff?

- i haven't had the time or the mental strength to be creative. i've been super busy (moving apartments + my awful daytime job), super stressed, and very close to suffering both burnout and actual depression. my life has been pretty shit mentally, emotionally, and financially. i told myself i'd catch up towards the end of the month but then my very body started protesting against how thin i've spread myself, because i got sick with a pretty nasty cold. i finally realised i needed to give myself a break.

//// UPDATE: i forgot to actually pause the billing cycle, so you're currently getting charged for august, which is exactly what wasn't supposed to happen. i'm so sorry, i fucked up. but do not fear, i have a new plan--i'll pause next month's billing cycle instead, so you won't be charged for september on october 1st. i'll still do the limited august content previously outlined (oc spotlight and motm stuff), and i'll still do all the usual monthly content for september and onwards. please read THIS post for more info.
