Volume 14 Chapter 22: 

"At least we got the claws." The demon princess raised the bear claws. The magic stone was expensive, but the other materials were nothing to scoff at.

"Now, let's get out of here. It smells." Burnt meat and also scorch marks would make their noses twitch. Carolyn and Scarlet nodded as the three touched the orb, sending them back into the air. It was time to return to the adventurers guild.

"Madison, we're back." The group headed over to the desk which the receptionist nodded, "Welcome back. How was your exploration?"

"Eventful."

"Here's all of the items that we've earned." Carolyn handed over the items they earned. Madison nodded as she looked at the number of mana stones before her. Besides defeating the floor boss, they had also taken out many monsters. 

Each woman had a pile of magic stones before them. That was when Scarlet grinned, "It seemed I won this contest." Her pile was slightly more significant than the rest.

"It's all about quality rather than quantity." Alfia's pile had some high-tier magic crystals. 

"We'll see." All three princesses glared at one another, ready to duke it out. 

Madison continued to analyze all of them, “Where is the magic stone for the floor boss?” There was something she was curious about. Only the claw was brought back, but so many other valuable items. The hide and also the mana stone. This was at least third on the list.  

“...Complications.”

“Understood.” Madison nodded and then handed the coins over to them, “Thank you for all of the patronage."

"Who earned the most?"

"Carolyn." 

"Yippe!" Carolyn waved her hands in the air, which caused the two to shake their heads.  

"Then I can do whatever I want, right?" A devious grin appeared.

"...Yeah." "Only if you can handle it." 

"..." Madison tilted her head. What did they have planned? 

The three women didn’t say much as they quickly rushed home. After all of that, they needed to get back there. Diana was the first person to greet them, “Welcome back, everyone. How was your trip outside?” 

“Fruitful.” The three had a goal they wanted to achieve, and that was what they did. All of them felt proud of their accomplishment. 

“For a second, I thought all of you had run away.” Keith laughed as he walked over to them. That was when Carolyn pounced, prepared to jump on him! But Keith caught her by the scruff of her neck, “What do you think you’re doing?” 

“Hug, I need my Keith energy today.”

Sniff sniff. Keith instantly pulled his head back, “Go take a shower. You guys stink.” Being in the dungeon for quite some time would do that. But that only caused Scarlet to grin, 

“But I want my Keith energy as well.” She was ready to jump at him but was caught like a kitten. To make sure nothing like that happened, Keith also caught the other person who would be trouble.

“Hey! I wasn’t going to jump you.” Alfia felt wronged.

Keith shook his head, “Too bad, you’re going to get the same treatment. Now, hit the showers.” He brought them to the bathroom and chucked them in.

“So mean!” Carolyn pouted, but as she was going to do that, she started to sniff the bath. It was gentle and also soft there. The three girls didn’t hesitate to jump into the pool, “This is the best thing ever.” They stayed there and didn’t say anything to one another. Once they were finished with it, that was when they were welcomed with an open meal, 

“What’s that I smell?”

“I made some croquette and also some rice and lettuce. We made it a few days ago.” 

“...” Carolyn and the two had no words as they took a bite. They couldn’t help but shed a tier as they ate. Herrick couldn’t help but mutter, “A warm food when you come home from a day’s hard work would do good for the body, huh?” 

“It’s the best.” Alfia munched on a croquette as she savored the taste of pork filling her mouth. The same was true with the others as they couldn’t help but do the same. 

However, 

“Are you guys really alright with eating all of this?” There was no stopping these girls. They were feasting on those croquettes like there was the last thing they had been eating. 

“Were you eating in the dungeon?” There was something wrong with this. You guys are supposed to be princesses! And you’re going to get a stomach hurting if you guys keep doing this. But Carolyn hissed. Yes, hissed! 

“We haven’t eaten anything in such a long time! And I refuse when you make something so delicious!” Carolyn continued to eat while Scarlet and Alfia followed suit. They were going to eat everything that was before them.
