Vulgar Reverie - Non-Story Feedback

Hi everyone!

Development for V0.10 is well underway and I'd like to thank you all once again for all the support and for enjoying our game so far! We really do appreciate all the comments; good, kind and constructive!

What I wanted to ask today is if you all have any feedback regarding the game that doesn't involve the story! Things you like about the menus, a quality of life feature you'd like added, a tweak that would make it better or a part of the interface that you aren't particularly fond of in some way! I'd like to know it all. :)

I want to keep striving to do better and make the best possible experience for you all.

Enjoy your weekends!

Comments

Many people have expressed what I wanted to say. There is also one feature that I believe could enhance the completeness of the game; of course, whether or not to implement it is entirely up to the devs: # Character Interface # Characters that have already appeared in the player's game progress can be reviewed for their introductions and information (such as height, age, hobbies, and other detailed character settings) including appearances in different outfits (to increase the utilization of Ammie's various costumes). Characters that have not yet appeared are represented by shadowy silhouettes labeled as "Unknown Character". Additionally, newly confirmed characters set to appear soon could be included as hidden surprises and hints at upcoming content.

I think having the name of the person that's speaking on a folder-like tab on the left hand side of the dialog box would be a little more clean. Also having a full gallery instead of a group one would be a nice change. Just having all of the pictures on one screen.

Logan

After reading the rest of comments, I would also like sound effects like moans/orgasms, and maybe a type of 'on going sfx' instead of after every click.

Devo

having voice actor for the redhead will be a great addition

samurai sword

I would like a change MC name feature lol

OZCR

There is no auto button from what I can tell

DarkCha1nsaw

I hope to have more sound effects added, including new background music and more intense onomatopoeic effects. Of course, my biggest wish is to have a sexy voice to dub Ame Also, please help me remove Ame's freckles. Please

That toggle will allow the existing skip function to continue skipping even when they hit new/unread text. There's no skip button like in the default Ren'Py UI, but PC users can hold Ctrl to skip seen text by default.

One aspect that might be slightly hard to implement at this stage but will make the game look PRO to match the art and story is........ Chapters. A Chapter system or something along those lines will help people better understand the progression in the game. It will also help with future updates so instead of (v0.blah blah) you can just say Chapter __! Having chapters OR somewhat of a timeline will help make this game even better. :P Keep up the great work!

note

So far I'm satisfied with that aspect of the game, so I can't think of anything very useful. However, as someone who is somewhat sensitive to bright light, I would say, a filter or night mode in the settings and save menu?, although it is something that is solved by simply lowering the brightness, so I don't know if it would be a good idea.

Phlesaur

Maybe you should put all the raffle winner cg and other special cg in the game gallery too because people might miss out all the good stuff that is not in the game

Molamola

I mentioned in a previous post way back, but maybe an auto proceed function? Not skipping (different feature), but that progresses the dialogue automatically, set by how fast you want it go. I like it for when a scene is building up.

Devo

I really like the menu UI and the options you've given for affects. I think the only thing that has ever bothered me is that the silly kiss render looks really low resolution because of the zoom in it does. Its not a big gripe.

Victor Blanc

Renpy games have this feature by default. If you check the options, you should see a "skip unseen text" toggle. After you toggle that, holding the Control button on your keyboard will skip dialogue.

Victor Blanc

I am very happy with everything you mention, I can only recommend adding a skip button for the dialogues. (if there is something similar already inserted, I apologize)
