Chapter 751: I'll Let You Have Three Moves

"...Lü Bu?" Kuang Zhankuang stared at the tall human man in front of him, his expression growing darker. He couldn't help but feel that his situation was turning grim.

Lü Bu raised the Fang Tian Halberd in his hand and pointed it at Kuang Zhankuang, speaking arrogantly, "Daring to offend His Majesty is a crime worthy of death. To deal with someone like you, it would be a waste to trouble His Majesty."

"However, His Majesty is merciful, and as his loyal subject, how can I not follow his example? Today, I shall imitate His Majesty’s benevolence and let you have three moves."

As Lü Bu finished speaking, he tossed the Fang Tian Halberd into the ground, where it stood firmly. Crossing his arms over his chest, he gazed at Kuang Zhankuang, lifting his chin slightly, signaling for him to make his move.

Such an action filled Kuang Zhankuang with humiliation. His teeth clenched, and his fists tightened as his skin turned an even deeper red. The space around him began to warp from the sheer heat radiating off his body.

From his aura alone, Kuang Zhankuang now seemed far more dangerous than before.

"Since you’ve said that, I won’t stand on ceremony. Don’t regret it later," Kuang Zhankuang snarled, his words spaced out with fury. Soul energy surged around him, and the pressure he emitted became increasingly terrifying, making it hard for those around him to breathe.

The soul beasts in the vicinity, already prostrated by his presence, trembled uncontrollably.

Many of the weaker ones fainted outright from the oppressive atmosphere.

Boom!

Kuang Zhankuang disappeared from his original position, and the ground beneath him exploded as his feet propelled him forward, sending dirt flying. In an instant, he was in front of Lü Bu, swinging his fist with all his might.

Dong...

A deep, resonant sound echoed like a bell. The Red Hare soldiers remained calm and unmoved, but the surrounding trees—hundreds of them—were instantly reduced to dust, scattering into the air and vanishing without a trace.

The immense recoil from the impact sent Kuang Zhankuang flying backward. He tumbled across the ground, carving out a long trench as the dirt was thrown aside.

"Ugh!" After coming to a stop and getting back to his feet, Kuang Zhankuang clutched his chest and let out a groan, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

When he lifted his head, he saw Lü Bu still standing in the same place, his arms crossed over his chest, looking down at him with a cold, disdainful gaze.

"I... I don’t even have the qualification to make him move a single step?" Kuang Zhankuang thought, his spirit shattered. The bright red hue of his skin began to fade, returning to its natural dark gray tone. He had taken a significant blow, not just physically, but mentally.

From the moment he was born, Kuang Zhankuang had been the pride of the Kuang Lie Clan’s generation.

His father and grandfather were both graduates of the Sea Spiral Sacred Academy, and his great-grandfather was the clan leader of the Kuang Lie Clan. Among his peers, no one could match his talent, and he had long left them behind in terms of cultivation.

He was a rising star in the Kuang Lie Clan, a prodigy destined for greatness.

Kuang Zhankuang could tell that Lü Bu was about his age, perhaps even five years younger.

Yet, even after standing still, Lü Bu’s defenses remained impenetrable.

Kuang Zhankuang, who had always experienced smooth sailing in life, had never suffered such a devastating blow.

It was hard for him to accept.

Lin Qian, observing from the side, could see clearly that Lü Bu had completely shattered Kuang Zhankuang's spirit.

Lü Bu was a general with immense attack power, but he was also incredibly resilient. His defense was extraordinary. Even though his War God Armor and Fang Tian Halberd were replicas, their strength far surpassed the typical soul weapons of the same grade.

Even with a puppet body, Lü Bu was still one of the most formidable entities in the Hua Xia Empire's Fantasy Star. If Kuang Zhankuang had managed to break through Lü Bu’s defenses, that would have been truly strange.

"This is the strength of a legion commander. Though his cultivation level isn't high, his power far surpasses that of an ordinary general," Lin Qian mused, feeling proud that this powerful warrior belonged to his empire.

Back at the palace at the center of the trial grounds, everyone was silent.

Even though all subordinates were registered, they hadn’t expected Lü Bu’s strength to be this overwhelming.

"This is Kuang Zhankuang, the young master of the Kuang Lie Clan, a new rising star in the Dominator Alliance. How could this happen?"

"It's not unusual for subordinates to defeat trial participants, but to defeat a member of the Dominator Alliance’s Kuang Lie Clan? That’s extraordinary."

"No wonder the headmaster took personal interest. Even his subordinates are this powerful."

"Aren’t you all surprised by the strength of the Red Hare soldiers’ combined attack?"

The palace was filled with excited chatter. Everyone was shaken by what they had just seen, and discussions erupted, emotions running high.

Inside the trial grounds, Lü Bu looked down at Kuang Zhankuang, who was sitting on the ground. "What’s wrong? Are you done already?"

"I’ve lost. I’m no match for you," Kuang Zhankuang sighed in resignation. A bitter smile tugged at his lips. "To continue fighting would only be a disgrace. What’s the point?"

"If you’re going to kill me, just do it."

Lü Bu's expression turned cold, and he was about to finish him off when Kuang Zhankuang suddenly spoke again. "I may have lost my chance to enter the Sea Spiral Sacred Academy this time, but I will train even harder. One day, I will defeat you."

Kuang Zhankuang stood up slowly, determination flashing in his eyes as he stared at Lü Bu. His voice was resolute, leaving no room for doubt.

The blow he had suffered earlier no longer fazed him. Instead of defeat, his gaze now held a fierce fighting spirit, unwilling to concede.

He had lost today, and he admitted it. Lü Bu’s strength was undeniable, and he accepted that he was outclassed.

But Kuang Zhankuang would not let this be his downfall. Instead, it ignited an even stronger desire to surpass his opponent.

"Oh?" Lü Bu looked at him, his eyes now showing a hint of admiration. He nodded. "Not bad. You’re quite the man."

As he spoke, Lü Bu raised the Fang Tian Halberd, ready to strike down the man before him.

"Wait!" Lin Qian's voice called out, and Lü Bu immediately halted, standing aside respectfully.

After stopping Lü Bu, Lin Qian turned to Kuang Zhankuang. "Kuang Zhankuang, would you be willing to follow me?"

"Follow you? Why should I?" Kuang Zhankuang sneered. "I may respect Lü Bu, but you are another matter."

Just as Kuang Zhankuang finished speaking, Lin Qian vanished from his original position, appearing instantly before Kuang Zhankuang. With one swift punch to the gut, Kuang Zhankuang doubled over and collapsed to the ground.

Looking down at Kuang Zhankuang, Lin Qian remained expressionless as he asked coldly, "Now what do you think?"
