This week's story was written for last weeks $12 patron poll, and the winning prompt was: “An angel in the process of falling comes to a demoness who offers to shatter her halo - and with it, her mind”. Definitely an exciting and challenging one to write! The resulting story is a definitely a little stranger and more abstract than my usual fare - but I hope that's a fitting reward for all of you who like creative takes on falling angels

Thank you! Don't we all ;) Not consciously - although I am definitely aware of the Phyrexians, so maybe it was a little Freudian slip. Mostly, though, it was just a phrase that came to mind when I was trying to describe the 'living latex' look of Beleth and her ichor
