Added 2025-07-22 00:48:20 +0000 UTCPossibly the only rap song, ever, where I’ve had to simply just react to what I’m hearing, rather than concentrate on the wordplay. He took me out of my usual methodology, completely. That level of concentrated emotion is something I think can only come from those that have endured serious heartache and hardship. Taming the shadow is a dark, dark task.
Marshall is a real one for this.

Due to the nature of this song, on the edited/clean versions of the CD, it was replaced completely w/ that song; so therefore technically as much a part of this album as all of these songs and a lot of people brush over it. It's not lyrically stunning at all, but it plays 100% into the bit of Shady being akin to a South Park character; I'll just leave it at that. lol Cheers man, and hope you're feeling better!
