what kind of topics and themes do YOU want me to address in future HOW TO MONSTER guides? COMMENT BELOW with your suggestions and i will enter them into future HTM polls!
my HOW TO MONSTER pdfs are guides/tutorials/walkthroughs that deal with the process of concepting, designing, and drawing monsters--you can check out previous HTMs under the 'how to monster' tag. i can't believe it's already been a year of HTMs and i'm so excited to see which topics we'll discuss in 2019!
all kinds of suggestions are welcome! if you'd like to stay anonymous, you can send me a PM. otherwise, comment below or on literally any other HTM post!
(please note that i do retain the right to refuse any suggestion if, for whatever reason, i'd feel uncomfortable drawing/discussing it. entering a suggestion does not guarantee that i will draw/discuss it. i might also tweak suggestions, combine them with other suggestions, simplify it if it's very specific/detailed, etc.)

some of my own ideas for future topics include:
- monster heads and faces (and perhaps separate, more in-depth HTMs about monster eyes, noses, and mouths/teeth)
- a walkthrough of my personal designing process (in which i'd show you exactly how i design a few characters)
- designing aquatic/amphibious monsters
- designing specific types of monsters (for example werewolves, dragons, 'elemental' monsters, demons, vampires, and so on)
- markings, patterns, colourations (aka 'colour schemes part 2')
- the 'superficial' stuff - fur, feathers, scales, and so on
- themed monsters (a more in-depth discussion about designing monsters that are themed on something)
- perhaps an HTM about drawing inspiration from various cultures and how it can influence both your monster designs and drawing style?
- an HTM about worldbuilding and lore? which would be less focused on drawing and designing, but could still be interesting for those of you who like worldbuilding as much as i do?
