yup. you read that right. 9 pages. i set out to make a 3-5 page guide, as stated in the reward description, and then i somehow i end up with 9 goddamn pages. i have worked so hard to finish this on time. in fact, i've been working non-stop for the last, uh ... 22 hours. i haven't even napped. i have written and read the word 'design' so much that i don't know what it means anymore. i can see sound and hear smells. but it's done, i'm proud of it, and i hope you enjoy it too <3

(i feel like i should say a few words about the lack of any mention of monster genitals, though. i'm a nsfw artist, after all, so an important part of designing my characters is designing their genitals. but this HTM is meant to be an introduction, so i couldn't really focus in on specific body parts, i needed to prioritise talking about more general and fundamental aspects of the design process. in addition, since the whole thing ended up entirely sfw, it means it's easy for anyone to read at any time or any place without having to worry about getting busted with very explicit nsfw content, and i think that makes it more accessible? ANYWAY, 'designing monster genitalia' will absolutely be an option in the upcoming poll, because i'd love to talk about that. so if that's what you want the next HTM to be about, be sure to vote for it!)
