And, if you are interested at all, I recommend rap god. It’s definitely worth a reaction and is one of his best songs he’s made imo. It’s 6 minutes of just straight bars, with a very in particular verse that makes it as iconic as it is. You’ll know it when you see it. 🙏

2024-08-22 07:05:33 +0000 UTCThis is more of a conceptual song if he were to end up dying from his O.D in 2006 or 2007 (I can’t remember the exact year) but he’s said in an old interview that if he got to the hospital maybe within 30 minutes to an hour later it would’ve been too late, so this song has a lot of backstory to it. In the song it’s him basically watching an alternate reality where he did pass away from drugs, what confirms this firstly, is him yelling at old him to get up while old him was laying on the bed O.Ding, and secondly, him saying in a line that ‘it’s like he was in an alternate reality’ ultimately confirming the idea of the song. He really has been sober since 2008 and has made it to all of those things. I also feel like it’s worth mentioning that em and jelly roll used a hook that jelly has already made from his original version of the song that he actually made before this. Alaina is biologically Eminem ex sister in law daughter that him and his ex wife adopted to her mom not doing good. Hailie is Eminem’s and his ex wife Kim daughter. Stevie is Kim and ex’s daughter that Eminem raised and adopted. Nate is Em’s half bother that he took in and raised when he was young. There is a theory about Somebody Save Me being like a what if he actually died when he od in 2007 so he talking about all the things that he would’ve missed if he was no longer here.
