I’m so happy you’ve been reacting to Foo Fighters. I grew up listening to them a lot because they are one of my mom’s favorite bands. The way K-pop stans are fans of their different groups is how my mom is with Foo Fighters. She’s watched their show Sonic Highway as well as read the book the lead singer’s mom wrote about being the mom of a rockstar. Dave Grohl (the lead singer) would be my mom’s bias for sure. We even have a joke that he’s her secret husband and one year for either her birthday or Mother’s Day (I can’t remember which one) my sister and I got her a shirt that says “she wants the D” with a picture of Dave Grohl cause like yk D standing for Dave. She absolutely loved it and thought it was so funny. She got to see them get indoctrinated into the Hall of Fame and my sister and I helped buy her a ticket to one of their shows and helped her bf surprise her with it. She fully thought she was going to a baseball game and then found out she was going to see them and was so beyond happy. Every time you react to them it just reminds me of her and all the memories I have with her that are tied to this group. Plus Dave is such a genuine down to earth dude. He’s super open and really funny and just has a really awesome personality from what we’re able to see from interviews and documentaries. And he has such a passion about music and learning about music that has had such monumental impact on music today. That’s kind of the premise of their documentary show Sonic Highway which is a really good watch if you are passionate about music.

2024-06-10 07:38:09 +0000 UTCGreat reaction Teddy, yeah Foo definitely have a formula, I think it’s because Dave went from drummer to guitarist and singer, he tends to stick to a pattern but hey, it fucking works and the guy is just pure talent with a pure soul. Dave is 100% one of my heroes. Never seen a bad interview with him, he’s open, caring, not egotistical, silly and does things like volunteers at soup kitchens behind the scenes, not for publicity but because he loves cooking and giving back to the community 👏 also, to say he’s been in multiple iconic rock/metal/grunge bands, he’s not a snob about music, he openly loves things like the BeeGees (side note, foo fighters did a BeeGees cover album) and the B-52s and doesn’t look down on or diss any other types of music, like a true metal head 🤘♥️ I’d love to see you react to something like The Runaways/Joan Jett, just for something classic, plus we’ve barely shown any female rockers yet!
