You may never see this since you made this comment so long ago, but in case you do— I wanted to suggest the use of “unkempt” in place of “homelessness.” I assume this is what you were trying to say anyway, what with it being more difficult for those with no residence to maintain their physical appearance.

I think part of the reason you don’t see many idols with beards is because they are constantly making content and they always have to “look their best” but the problem when it comes to Asian men is that when trying to grow a beard it grows in incredibly patchy and a lot of Korean men can’t grow a full beard (like yours) period. And due to the patchiness that Asians get when growing a beard I can only describe it as a look of homelessness. Watching my dad or my cousins or other male Asian friends try to grow a beard was so uncomfortable because it does not look good. So I think they just have them shave regularly so that doesn’t happen because they don’t have a long enough period of time before releasing new content to actually allow for their beard to look presentable. Granted I feel like they could get away with letting a few of them have like a goatee but that’s because when they do try to grow facial hair the hair grows more so on the chin and upper lip and less on the cheeks and jaw area.

Thank you for the reaction to the second episode of Kingdom. I know that the parts where the members are deciding the songs and choosing the choreographies and comments of the other groups can be boring but I believe it gives a different meaning to the presentations and the very image of each member. I believe we can better understand their reactions by seeing these parts. There is an episode of Kingdom that has no performances. It's a day out of the studios and it's a sports day. I hope you watch this episode too, just my wish.
