How exciting! Since I already built an overtone flute, I'm doing this flute next, in the key of D. I have already heated the end of the pipe and pushed the wood dowel into place, and I'm getting ready to make the mouthpiece. What kind of glue do you recommend? Should I do PVC solvent weld, or some other kind of traditional glue?

There is so many parameters, you can't write an absolute chart, I tried to detailed the best I could in the chapter about holes!

Is there an absolute length for each pitch? For example, let's say I want to make a flute in Em, so I'd need Em, F#, G, A, B, C, D, E, are there absolute lengths in mm to get to each of those notes? So if I want to make a weird scale like the diminished scale, I could look at the chart and see what lengths I'd need. I'd love to see a chart of those lengths, and also whether to measure from the center of the sound hole, or from the fipple, etc. depending on which instrument
