Spreadsheet I use for flute proportions

This is a page from my Ebook :

You asked me, so here is my spreadsheet for this calculation!

You must complete:

Original flute length (as explained on the book's page)
Length of the new flute
Original flute holes location (I take measurements from the end of the pipe to the center of the hole)
Original flute holes diameter

and the spreadsheet will give you the new flute holes location and the new flute holes diameter.

Tips:
The result is never perfect, it can be from quite accurate to just a little help...
If you don't change the PVC pipe diameter, do not follow the holes diameter change and keep the original size, it is helpful only when you change for a smaller or a bigger pipe.

Another feature I use sometimes is the ideal internal diameter and the ideal length of the new flute:

If you change the pipe diameter, you can complete the diameter of the original flute and the diameter of the new flute (inner diameter), you will get an ideal length to keep the same proportions.
If you have an idea of the new flute length, you can know the new flute's ideal internal diameter to keep the same proportions.

It is a very simple spreadsheet, but I hope it can help!

Hi Nicolas, thanks so much for the spreadsheet! One question though: when I try to calculate the holes for a 20mm alto whistle in G, the calculations differ quite a lot depending if I use the plan for the A-whistle or the F-whistle as the "original flute". Would it be better to use a higher pitched flute as the original flute, or a lower pitched flute? Or is there another way to approximate the new dimensions? Thanks so much :)

Thanks very much for posting this! Looking forward to using it!
