PATRONS: The Elven Vault

Our band of intrepid adventurers make their way through the Elven stronghold, nestled between the treetops high above the forest floor. They descend down the stairs into the entrance hall of the enchanted Elven Vault of lore. Then- they catch sight of a group of treasure hunters, attempting to shatter the vault's enchanted door through sheer force. 

With a sly smile and a twinkle in his eye, the bard of the group steps forward, lute in hand, believing he could *implore* these unwelcome visitors to leave. "Consider this: our barbarian hasn't had a good brawl in ages. Perhaps it's time to weigh the gold in that vault against your lives?" 


This map pack contains:

• 4 custom tokens for the Elven Monarch, and 3 treasure hunters
  

You can use this map for whatever suits your needs, but here are some of the key features:

Vault entrance hall

The party steps down into the time-worn Vault entrance hall, the balcony in front of them shows that they are still high up in the trees. A thick mist obscures the view.

The Vault Door

The treasure hunters are trying to break through the large vault door. On the other side, the interior vault is magically and magnificently preserved.

Treasure!

Great riches lie in wait inside of the vault- for those daring enough to take them. A powerful longsword, enchanted with  Elven crystal magic, important scrolls and tomes on Elven history, and the conserved body of the Elven matriarch... Speak with dead, anyone?

The Elven Monarch 

Lasty, the old Elven Monarch is seated in his throne, forever caught in a state of... tormented undeath? Is he being controlled by the spirit of a powerful lich? A mindflayer trying to make the Monarch open the vault from the inside? Insert your own creepy BBEG here?





I enjoy thinking of stories to go with the maps as I'm building them. Of course there's plenty of flexibility in how to use them, but it could make for a fun one-shot!
