These next couple months are going to be super busy as I work to meet my deadlines for this site and personal projects! I have plans to release a book at the end of this month, working title School for the Supernatural. It's a story about a girl, told in second person, who is a Reaper, one of Death's agents. She's been keeping her identity secret from her school friends but that's soon put into jeopardy when the bell tolls for the wrong person.
This week, my goal is to finish editing the first few chapters and post them here to get some feedback! Second person is a relatively new POV for me, and it's been a really fun challenge to create a coherent story through such a limited narration.
The story I'm posting tonight leaves off on a very cliffhanger-feeling note, so another goal is also to expand on that and give us all a satisfying end! Or at the very least one where the MC (main character) feels a little better!
Lastly--and this might be better left for the week of the eighteenth-- I'll be hosting a poll for what theme/universe you all would like to see for my next anthology. Superheroes? The fae? Stories about socks finding their rightful owners? You decide!
