Sketch Commission - "Spiked Orb"
Added 2023-08-05 04:08:50 +0000 UTCSketch for another client of their OC, a crimson saurian named "Spiked Orb". For this one I went back and found some favourite panels of Majira, the terrifying reptilian super-soldier from Kouya Ni Kemono Doukokusu, a manga adapted from a novel series about... terrifying animalistic super-soldiers. Majira specifically always stood out to me because of the incredible tension Itoh Sei imparts every depiction of him - taut muscles, lashing tail, the permanent rictus of the exposed fangs.
If people haven't guessed yet, I love, love, love rendering glossy red chitinous surfaces.
