December Update

- ICYMI: No Valar Rereadis today, we're back on schedule next week w/part 10. I'll be recording from Boston at the house of Radio Westeros!
- For Part 11, I'll be recording another "Where Are They Now" for Arya's time in Harrenhal (which she will depart in part 12).
- Yesterday we recorded a really fun episode with Kim Renfro, it's up on YouTube and will be posted tonight in podcast form. She wrote a very detailed labor of love book on GoT that I really enjoyed reading.
- Y'all voted to do 5 ASOS chapters a week instead of 6, so that's what we'll do.
- I missed my target for Jenny's Song, but I did actually record it this morning. I have about a 30 minute window each day to get the singing recorded. That probably sounds odd, so I'll explain, ha. My voice is notably deeper (about a half octave, probably) when I first wake up and I really want the recording to capture my voice like that. So tomorrow I'll be waking up early again to re-record it. It came out well but I can definitely do a little better. I'm still working on it today, but the guitar parts instead of the vocals. I did everything myself when we recorded "The Rains of Castamere" but this time our engineer Ben (the Bengineer) will be doing the production and editing/mixing. I'm looking forward to hearing the finished product, because he knows recording a lot better than I do!
