This would also add another layer to the resentment Tywin feels towards his youngest son. Not only did his wife die birthing him, also the potential uncertainty of his parentage. But Tyrion would be (to Tywin ) a twisted version of his mother, as a constant reminder of the wife he lost. A perversion of her shade.

There would be something sweet about it if she shared personality traits with Tywin. She is one of those almost mythical characters from just before the main story starts. One who is generally held in high regard in the fandom. It would be kind of cool of she turned out to be a bit shady like Tywin or Cersei even. But I don't think that's the case. I like to think it is from joanna that Tyrion gets a lot of his attributes. To be able to "rule" a man like Tywin she would have to be cunning, intelligent, sharp of wit. She would have been good at reading people and situations and turning those things to her advantage. And of course, to be able to make Tywin laugh, she must have been very funny. Like her youngest son.
