August & Beyond: A Long Hiatus for Ongoing Reactions

Hey there, everyone! I made a somewhat rambling, non-short video announcement which you are welcome to watch, but for those who may want to skip those 10+ minutes (*g*) I can break it down for all of you this way:

• Next month, I am starting graduate school. (YAY!!!)
• School will be in addition to the full-time job, so this will have a huge impact on recording new reactions for the foreseeable future. (BOO!!)
• I am hoping to react to modern Doctor Who’s November anniversary episodes (which may be posted in December, I’m not sure right now.) But I will try to react to the anniversary specials as well as any possible holiday specials since they will air around/during my Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.
• Series 14 reactions to Doctor Who are uncertain at this point. We’ll have to see how things develop.
• This may go without saying, but I will not be starting any new reactions series in the near future.
• The Patreon will remain open for anyone to pledge for the library of reactions that have been built up so far. If you are new to the Patreon and still catching up, you can continue to do so for as long as you like.

As for Classic Doctor Who, I will finish recording the planned reactions for July, and then I will need to go into hiatus mode with the show. I have so many more episodes to react to, but I really need to focus on this graduate program and keep up with work as well, so I can’t promise a certain amount of reactions per month. I will do more brainstorming over the next couple of weeks to see if there’s a way to squeeze in the occasional reaction now and again, but right now it’s like DW Series 14 reactions - I just don’t know.

The degree program takes almost two years of back-to-back terms (no summer vacation) and I know that will be a really long time with either no new reactions or very occasional reactions. I’ll post more information and time-management ideas as they come to me, but I did want to take this opportunity to let all of you know that I feel incredibly lucky to have had such awesome support over the past 4+ years! It’s been an absolutely amazing experience and I hope you have had as much fun as I have :-)
