2023-06-30 05:23:32 +0000 UTCThe insectoid creature seen in the opening scenes (who gets beheaded by Condo) was one of a species previously seen in a Jon Pertwee story which you skipped, "The Mutants" in Season 9, which was directed by the same guy (Christopher Barry) who directed this story. Rather than go to the time and expense of creating a new monster for this minor role, it was a case of "What have we got in the old costume store?" :-)
