Watching your reaction to this enjoyable six parter. I have fond memories watching this story when it was first broadcast. The regular cast are infine form. The character of Tommy had the mind of a child with learning disabilities.

2023-02-12 20:02:30 +0000 UTCGreat reaction! It's a shame that you couldn't react to the second serial but hopefully you'll be able to watch it in your own free time (or a recap like you said). To keep it brief, Mike no longer works for UNIT anymore as he went rogue in that story. His actions put The Doctor, Sarah Jane and UNIT's lives in danger and that's the reason why he quietly resigned and now seeks rehabilitation through means in this serial. I like the fact that he contacted Sarah Jane and worked with her in these episodes mainly because she's the only person that he can rely on right now especially as a contact given that he went out on a sour note in the second story of this season. It was nice to see Jo write to UNIT and The Doctor too. The crystal coming back into play for this story is also cool as are the action sequences. I do like how they utilised Sarah Jane's journalistic side in this story too. Will elaborate more on Tommy later but I was under the impression that he has a learning disability.
