I definitely agree with your theory but it's also because, unlike everyone else, Stahlman never had direct contact with the goo. He only touched the cracked jar full of the stuff and got a very small amount on himself. It was enough to infect him, but the low quantity meant the conversion process was a lot slower than the others.

My fanon is that it's because he's soooo damned stubborn naturally that it actually keeps the change at bay, for better or worse. 😆

I’ve mentioned this many times I thought Season 7 is one of the best seasons of the Jon Pertwee Era. I was seven years old when it was first broadcast in 1970. I loved the whole concept of this story. Dark, scary and thought provoking. I really hope that they will release Season 7 on blu ray. I’ll be very interested to see your reactions to Season 8. Especially the opening story of Season 8. TERROR OF THE AUTONS. What other stories will you be watching?
