Classic Who: Third Doctor Reaction Episodes

I haven't recorded my reaction for Patrick Troughton's final two episodes yet, but we're coming up on the Third Doctor's era, so you should probably know which episodes everyone selected for reactions:

Spearhead from Space (4 eps)
Doctor Who & the Silurians (7 eps)
Inferno (7 eps)
Terror of the Autons (4 eps)
The Mind of Evil (6 eps)
The Curse of Peladon (4 eps)
The Sea Devils (6 eps) 😜
The Three Doctors (4 eps)
Carnival of Monsters (4 eps)
The Green Death (6 eps)
The Time Warrior (4 eps)
Planet of the Spiders (6 eps) 🕷 eek!

That's 62 episodes/12 story arcs for Mr. Pertwee - 5 more episodes/3 more arcs than we did for Mr. Troughton. I'll still be doing 6 uploads a months, so it should take us about 5 months to complete this era, if all goes well. (Oh no, did I just jinx it?)

I will also be posting a full list of all the Classic DW episodes that were suggested to me, which is how all of this came together in the first place. New suggestions can be added going forward, but it might result in me having to skip something in the future, so it would be good to have the entire reaction-episode list up for reference. I'll elaborate more when I put up the full list. :-)

Until then, I'm looking forward to the final two Patrick Troughton episodes, and then we're on to Jon Pertwee. And in color, too! Exciting!

I definitely find 'Invasion of the Dinosaurs' to be sadly underrated! Yes, the dinosaurs look a bit rough (reminds me a bit of 'Land of the Lost'-style dinosaurs), but the story is great! <3

Great list for the Pertwee era. If I were to add one it would be Invasion of the Dinosaurs, which immediately follows Time Warrior. It has some important character developments, some of which also come into play in Planet of the Spiders, and hey, it’s also got dinosaurs! Even if they do appear a bit naff by modern standards. I also second the suggestion for The Daemons, if possible.

Seconding the Special Edition version of 'Day of the Daleks'. That's the one where Nick Briggs re-did all the Dalek voices, yeah? If so, I remember watching it at a con and was impressed with all they did to it. :)

Add me to the list of 'The Daemons' supporters. IF you can get hold of the Special Edition version of Day of the Daleks (the one with the CGI and new footage) it would make for an interesting reaction - if not, don't worry.
