This month’s pack is Dreadful Creatures — a mix of grim and spooky tokens to throw into your darker fantasy adventures. I put together everything from angry villagers and twisted Animongrels to creepy things like a Magic Broom, a Swarm of Bats, and a haunted Crawling Hut owned by Baba Babushka herself.
You’ll also find bigger threats like the Amber Golem, Tree Blight, Phantom Warrior, and some classic undead like zombies and witches. There’s even a Snow Maiden and a Wereraven tucked in for good measure.
Perfect if you’re running horror sessions, cursed forests, or just want your players to feel like something awful is lurking just out of sight. Hope you enjoy the new pack — and as always, can’t wait to hear what you do with it!
Every now and then, I get the itch to try something new—like animating my tokens. Thanks to some new tools, it’s become a bit easier, so this month I’m excited to include a bonus pack of animated Dreadful Creatures!
Just a heads-up: this is extra content, and I don’t plan on doing an animated pack every month (at least, not yet). That said, I’d really love to hear what you think! I’m sure there’s still a lot to improve, and your feedback would be super helpful.
The best place to share your experiences is over on the Discord. Hope you have fun with them!
I want to be fully transparent to you about the use of Artificial Intelligence as a tool in creating these tokens. I have used AI to increase my output and workflow. The way I use AI, is as a tool, as a part of the process. Digital drawing and creative human input is still a large part of the process.
We’re testing a new Spreadsheet Archive to make finding tokens easier. Since we avoid using certain names for legal reasons, locating specific tokens can sometimes be tricky.
To help, there’s now a "This token could also be used to represent" section where you can suggest ideas. By phrasing it like "this token could represent a Beholder," we stay on the safe side while keeping things flexible. Thanks for helping make the archive even better!
You can find it here.
