v0.41 Focus Poll

The transition to a new version of Ren'py and the reimplementation of the animation shaders took significantly less time than I was expecting. That's left me with two weeks of development time before the v0.41 release, and I want to know what areas of the game you would like to see more content added to.

Hi, the characters should look more different. You can´t really see if its an old woman or not.

To be honest I like the fact the game gets easier. I think it fits the feel of a character who starts from nothing and gradually accumulates resources and influence. It feels good that at the start you can barely get your girls to accept a company uniform but by the late game you can tell them to do anything and they'll do it right way. That said I do broadly agree that maybe there could be some more 'late game' challenges. Things that require a TON of money, or the characters with additional corruption hurdles (like a protective mother who takes them to the doctor and gets the serum flushed if you proceed to quickly/obviously). Having to balance sluttiness and obedience because a disobedient slutty character keeps trying to take her clothes off at the dinner table and that'll result in intervention. Maybe you should be able to 'lead production team' which makes your skill serve as a multiplier instead of an addition so there's actually a reason to do 'work' in the late game. I like these things because its an open world game so they're sort of 'opt in'. /Because/ you're now more powerful you can tackle these greater challenges, but if you don't feel like rising to the occasion, all the normal tier stuff (corrupting a new employee) is still super easy once you're a billionaire with magic serums and a staff of loving, loyal nymphs.

I just set the production to "None" so that all the serums stack up until I move them to be sold, and then go sell them, but yeah - that would be a good feature, especially if it came with some sort of benefit.

I'd add to this by suggesting that happiness could be made more important. Presently, it barely affects sex acts and the only real reason to care is if employees start leaving (and it isn't difficult to keep them above that minimal threshold). Perhaps happy employees could work harder or something?

I voted for all of them. :) I would especially like to see the Mom/boss/Raislin event further explored. Just a random observation by the way. Comparing LR2 to LR1, the gameplay difficulty is essentially flipped. In Lab Rats 1, it's really easy to get the first few steps as you have little or no resistance built up and everything that lowers resistance is fully effective, but as the game progresses and your ability to lower resistance is subject to diminishing returns (and eventually gone, except for serums), it becomes more difficult. In short, it starts easy and gets harder. Lab Rats 2 is the other way around. Even before the recent Clarity changes (which are good by the way, please don't take this as a criticism of those changes) the early part of the game is by far the hard part; money can be really tight, which means you have to occasionally trade energy for money (by selling or doing HR yourself, for example, or by accepting Lily's payment for InstaPics) and the early serums are both hard to deliver and also not particularly effective. Later in the game (for me it tends to be basically once I have finished all of Nora's initial research) you may not exactly have more money than you know what to do with (although you will eventually get there) but you have much better serums, which lead to much more money and easier seduction (especially of employees, for example). In short, LR2 starts hard but gets easier. Was this an intentional design choice, and if not how does one propose to make the endgame harder? Competing businesses perhaps? Events (e.g. a national campaign against lewdness or something) that suddenly reduce everyone's Sluttiness and Obedience?

Since the addition of Clarity makes the serum creation process slightly more convoluted, it would be cool if under the Assign Research tab to have another column for existing serums. It would give you the ability to have another chance at refining them, eliminating side-effects without having to remake them from scratch.

It would also be great to have a screen like the "review staff" sheet but that included everyone you'd met in the game. It's easy to bump into a random interesting character and then totally forget about them. If it had current sluttiness and serum duration remaining displayed, even better.

My first suggestion is the opposite of Sarlok's, I'd like an overtime policy with two stages, one that makes all employees work on Saturday, and a second that makes them work on Sunday as well, both at the cost of employee happiness. My second suggestion would be more serum traits, specifically ones that come with large benefits as well as large drawbacks, like +100% Suggestibility but -100 Sluttiness. With Serum tolerance, you can't just offset stuff like that with multiple serums easily, so you would have to plan carefully if you wanted to min-max effects.

Some changes I'd like: 1-The ability to review the summary table from the night before - it's too easy to click through accidentally. 2-A sorting function on the wardrobe so you can arrange by name, sluttiness, most recently used etc. 3-An export all function for same. 4-The ability to copy a wardrobe set from a girl and add it to your own list without trying to recreate it manually. 5-For the strippers at the club to have their profession listed when you talk to them (instead of just listed as unemployed), and a chance for them to come in for an interview when hiring. 6-Performing a sex act that your partner dislikes/hates should remove love, obedience or temporary sluttiness, not core sluttiness. It makes certain traits instant non-hires since sluttiness is generally the most important stat to increase in order to progress. 7-A sort function on the Staff Review screen would be helpful, particularly when you're trying to find subjects for Stephanie, to unlock tier 3 research. Could also be utilised as another way of calling people to your office for a performance review. 8-Asking someone to the movies on a Wed/Thur/Fri shouldn't stop you from asking someone on a date Friday night. Also you should be able to bring up a calendar/diary to check who you've planned dates with. 9-Certain punishments should get more interactions - if someone is asked to work in their underwear or nude for a week, maybe have side-events where the other staff can comment on that, or have them come to you to try and lift the punishment early for a favour. 10-I feel like there's room for a trait that's the opposite of 'likes being submissive' ie 'likes being dominant.' It would probably require a full set of dialogue and potentially more sex positions added though.

Agree, but please, there's so much overpolished phony "barbie-content" out there, include some natural/edgy character faces... inflationary appearence of classic beauties make things uninteresting, i also think that girls with goddess bodies should be something to shine between others. milfs and chubbies could also be nice from time to time

I've suggested this a few times in the monthly Pateron "Other things" poll, but I wold _love_ a paid day off option for staff. Eg; Being able to just send my Marketing dept. off, so I can complete the personal task of "Sell 'n' serums", rather than constantly re-allocate them to a different department, and then move them back again. Plus another easy way to generate employee happiness, and or force them around town during the week.

Hope I'm not late to the conversation. I think LR2 has plenty of opportunity for more gameplay elements. Try not to get lost now, I'm not very good when trying to jot ideas down on paper. One thing that I feel is sort of there but not completely is the feature for Likes, dislikes when having sex. Now we already have what each NPC Loves, Likes, Dislikes and Hates, but this can range from Small talk to Flirting to Anal. I feel their interests and what they like day to day and what they like/dislike in the bedroom should be two completely different tables on the character sheet. This a good opportunity for girls to have favourite positions, dislike giving or receiving oral or hating anal. This can also bring about kinks, which can also be included on your own character sheet. Kinks could be from playing dress up in nurse outfits, schoolgirl outfits or just lingerie to extreme kinks like watersports and hardsports . Another quick thing I'd like to see improved is for girls ability to level up their Sex skills, throughout time and the more you have sex with them. This would help with characters like Lily which have little to no sex skill points at all. Also, as I think most players found this game and adore this game for the incest aspect, personally I did and do. I have said previously I'd like to see a inclusion of a Grandmother character just to add for more family characters to have sex with. Also this could help include Gilfs into the game too. I have more I'd like to suggest and discuss but as of now, dont have time. May post later when I can.

Just as an aside, thanks heaps Vren for making this game! This is one of my favourite adult games for the sandbox-style gameplay and the amount of options for the player. The addition of the testing framework really helped fix a lot of crashing I had been seeing in the past, and I hope it will greatly help your development going forward and allow you to focus more of your time on cool stuff like the options in the poll. Thank you again!

I would like an option for tattoos and piercings.

To fit into the "Business Policies" option, it would be nice to have something (expensive is fine) that would help improve happiness. There's plenty of ways to make people unhappy, but the only non-energy dependent option to counteract that aside from visiting every employee every day to "compliment their work" and or spam feed everyone happiness potions (either with "Daily Serum Dosage" or a massive amount of clicking if you have a large staff. A non-potion spam option that doesn't require you to visit every single one of your 38 employees every day would save a lot of time. Especially when you have that one really hot girl that dislikes or hates everything in existence and threatens to quit if you forget to check on her once. In real life I'd say good riddance. But this is a porn game. It could even just be something simple like comfortable office chairs for a minor boost, and a break room for a second stage.

More random events that can apply to any character

More real variety in faces would be huge. The last batch added were… kind of odd?

For how to do the last, take a girl to the clothing shop and offer to buy her a (saved) outfit. If it is an outfit she would wear, she will accept you paying $100 for her new clothes, then add the outfit to the character's outfits. For how to do the first, coffee shop?

Ways to give a girl a serum without obedience. Ways to store an outfit a girl is wearing so you can modify it rather than having to try to recreate it somehow. Ways to change a girl's outfit without obedience. edit, also would like to see more side effects, possibly including side effects the player would consider positive but that would be "negative" for medical drugs, e.g. higher sluttiness or obedience. Edit 2, easy difficulty setting (give more starting character points and money) for people who have played 50 times and don't want to grind for the 50th time. An option to skip the tutorials for research, hiring, etc for the same reason.

I feel like the game is heavy on systems and light on content overall. I generally like the systems, but I think focus on them has left a gap in content. Ideally, additional content would create some more interesting goals rather than simply corrupting everyone. You could even combine those ideas, so that new content drives some of the new options other people are talking about. For example, you could have a story line about corrupting a masseuse that later unlocks the ability get a massage that restores energy. (Although I've never found the energy thing to be a real problem.) Smaller things I'd like to see: 1) Ability to globally toggle on/off glasses. 2) Reactions to making girls dress slutty. I've noticed once or twice that sluttiness appears to be affected on the girl who is dressed that way, but only when sluttiness is very low. Wider reaction would be interesting. Eg. I can't believe I'm dressed like this in the mall, or even some sort of public reaction. Could open all sorts of interesting story moments. 3) Ability to command girls to do other sorts of things. eg. Dress like this, go to mall. Since this game isn't focused on delivering live action visuals (which is fine), good content becomes situational. I'd like to see a real drive to add a lot of that. I don't even care which character. (Edit: or maybe it should be content that can be applied across characters..?)

Also am I the only one who feels like the player should have a private office and maybe the opportunity to hire a secretary (a good role for Emily)? Getting to move into the corner office with the big window and the hot PA seems like a big part of the evolution from 'boot strap pharmaco' to 'rich pharmaceuticals tycoon'

I think I alluded to this before, but I'd love some more activities that give back energy. I'm thinking a couple of branches: Location Services: Like maybe there's a masseuse you can go to to get a massage and that restores a good chunk of energy but advances time and costs a bunch of money. Maybe lesser versions like going to a cafe and having a coffee and chilling out. These might require a little more descriptive writing to make them seem real, but they'd also help flesh out the world so the players weekends don't boil down to 'work through the weekend' or 'make a booty call'. Luxury purchases: Like you buy a gaming console from the mall and this unlocks a 'play video games' at the house which advances time but gives you back more energy than waiting. This latter category could give you a big money sink for rich characters. The big ticket items could improve energy refresh without requiring a special action-> like a 'luxury bed' that costs a massive amount of money but increases energy regain while sleeping. 'Ergonomic office furniture' that increase the energy regain when time advances while you're at the office (working or otherwise). These probably lean more on coding, but would require very little in the way of story writing and would flesh out the late game.

Adding new types of outfits, but with stuff like butt plugs and other sex toys would be fantastic. It seems like it's an obvious missing piece. Basically outfit choices that have other status effects.

More location content would be great as well. Breathe some life into the clothing store, sex shop, hardware store, ect. Make the locations mean something and not just rooms to send the NPCs.

i would like a rework of manage employee uniforms option currently you go through 3 menus each time you want to add a uniform, so if you want to add 3 complete, company wide uniforms, you need to click like 12 times. And if you want to check if you added the uniforms correctly you need to go through the menus again and select remove uniform or set to see which uniforms you did add. Actually the remove uniform or set is nice, since you can see both full uniforms and over and under garments, what i dont like are the add uniform menus. My idea is that the after you select which part of uniform for which division, you get a menu with 2 lists, your outfit manager clothes on the left and target division clothes on the right. By clicking the clothes on the left list you add clothes while clicking clothes on the right removes it from the list. What i wish for is the ability to add multiple outfits from the same menu, and it would be nice to easily see which outfits i already added/removed in case i missclick. With most new patches i start a new game, design like 8 outfits for the company (although i just recreate the same outfits each time) and add them through the in game menus. Even if its, kind of, just a one and done thing for each playthrough, it would be nice if it was done in an easier to access way.

The game need some social content. Now you can do ewerything ewerywhere. Wear ewerything ewerywhere. You should do a little work to normalize this. For example, you can go for coffe with naked girl. Naked girl can do you blowjob in the middle of the day on the main street. And E.R.E idea "more of a focus on the non familiar characters in the game" Now this game is little .... What are you doing in this game.... mother, sister, aunt, cusin.... you know..... ekhm. Next idea. Add age and race filter to hiring workers

Was wondering if the ability to change the Fitness of the female body models is on the list of things to do? For instance, maybe send girls to the gym and/or business policies to increase or decrease fitness?

It would be great if the girls could update their wardrobe automatically to suit their sluttiness attribute. Dress up is fun but I think it would be a good experience to witness the change without as much intervention!
