[Poll] Most wanted feature?
Added 2021-04-27 05:58:25 +0000 UTCWork on 'Triple X-COM' is going smoothly at the moment; I am finishing up the personal encounters with the crew girls and the missing features of the base.
There will be a new demo version once I'm done with that. Which will be the (this time actually 😁) final demo before integration of the main story and release.
On a related note. There are a bunch of features I'm still thinking about. Not all of them will make it into the game. (because you know, feature creep is bad!)
- Pet Alien: A mind-reading little slime alien you can find and take with you. It will grow in the base, based on how you treat it. (and it's very perverted, of course)
- Endless Mode: Similar to how the demos work. The actual game will have somewhat of a time limit (due to the main story) and tweaks to accompany that.
- Usable Items: Think about buying/crafting potions to heal yourself during a mission. It might be interesting, but could also break the balance if not integrated carefully.
- More Pictures/Random Models: The amount of models you can encounter randomly is limited. It's very time consuming to include more, due to constraints of EOS.
- Capturing Aliens: What if you really like one of the random encounters and want to interact more with her after defeating her? Just capture the alien and take it home to "interrogate".

2021-04-27 08:18:28 +0000 UTCThose were actually two features I wanted to integrate from the beginning. "Pet Alien" was the first idea I had when thinking about Special Encounters. And "Capturing Aliens" was supposed to be an important thing for the story. (like, researching those aliens to find a way off the planet.)
