My theory about Askari is that his face is a little malformed. Other lions and animals bully him because of his "ugliness" and because they think he's somehow "cursed". This causes him to become very fierce, empathetic and justice-seeking.

I thought his tuft was similar to Kion’s tuft. Do you want to draw a picture of my theory of how Rani’s parents die? I believe a plague happened in Tree of life and a lot of animals died along with Ananda and Sahasi.
