Hellraiser 2022
Added 2022-10-17 20:08:09 +0000 UTCSo guys... i was pumped about this movie since i found out about it a few weeks ago. I didnt even know this project existed.
Anyways... i watched the first movie of the series maybe a couple of times when i was young and i remember only a couple of scenes but i remember LOVING it. I watched the second one as well i think but i am not sure at all. I dont remember ANYTHING. Then i dont think i've ever watched the others, so i cant say i am an expert or anything but i LOVED the concept of the movie and i loved the Cenobites.
Those creatures where the scaries thing i've ever seen and they were incredibly cool. They are the heart of the franchise, and in this case they delivered on that.
I love these Cenobites even more than the original ones in the way they look. The are scary as shit.
I really liked this movie. At the beginning i was afraid they were going to hold back on the killings but they delivered on that as well and i really liked the fresh view on the Cenobites and they whole thing, it's a different thing from the original one but at the same time it's super interesting as well.
The weak link were the humans. If the main character was really interesting... all the others were there just to die and you could see that from miles away. They didnt have any traits at all. But to be honest, when the Cenobites came into view, i couldnt give a bleep about the humans. Ghghghgh this was a good one and respectful of the OG so for me it was a win.
