Patreon cancels much-hated fee change!

I was hopeful they would, and their message, though about a full week too late, seems to properly understand the issue at least.
So $1 patrons are fine, and subscribing to lots of Creators for small amounts of money still isn't penalized. No stupid changes for no good reason. My patreon campaign will continue as it has, though I did set up a ko-fi just in case.
I do think there was some misunderstanding; it's easy to read and stupid thing a big company does as being an act of greed, but I'm pretty sure Patreon was just being really stupid and valuing the wrong thing. The idea of Patreon is still extremely good and I really hope they don't screw up like this again. We need something like this, really badly, and I think it needs to be far more popular than it is.
Anyway, today's crisis is over. Hooray! Let's not do this again.
