Cutting Room Floor: A rant on doing your research
Added 2017-07-28 16:53:22 +0000 UTCI actually recorded this one a couple weeks ago during the/a peak of the whole Alex Mauer crapshow. I just wrote the Alex Mauer Timeline later that same day, and ended up not publishing the video (one video on that debacle a day was more than enough.)
Eventually I just...never really posted it, and decided the video wasn't really worth posting due to it's negativity relative to the general positive atmosphere on the channel. I didn't want to let a person like that bring down the mood on my channel any more than they already had, plus as I've said before I work hard to keep things upbeat.
So it feels a little weird to offer a video I decided was a bit too grumpy for consumption, but since I post my cutting room floor stuff here and already finished recording and uploading anyway, here you go.
The video itself is about how people tend to hop in and take a "side" in too many debates without actually informing themselves. It probably could be re-recorded for a more positive tone but at this point I'd rather just drop the issue for now.
