LMAO it's really easy to forget that Xie Lian isn't just a cute man in love. it was really exciting to see that side of him.

2024-01-11 02:09:42 +0000 UTCI believe (and I could be wrong, I don't remember if it's explicitly explained in the book) that once Hua Cheng connects a transport array to a place, anyone with spiritual powers then roll any dice there to activate it. Hua Cheng connected the array to Xie Lian's heavenly palace, therefore anyone as long as the array is active. That's also why rolling in the earthworm caves and the tribal mountains transported Xie Lian and Wind Master. I also believe that the dice Hua Cheng gifted to Xie Lian act as a tracker so that he'll be able to find Xie Lian wherever he is. I think we all forget (at least a little bit) that Xie Lian is a powerful martial god, so him being serious in a fight is absolutely part of who he is. But it's also part of who he is to find a way out if he wants to. Either way, Hua Cheng fell in love again seeing him like that x)
