2023-02-06 09:13:12 +0000 UTCYou got all the main points - a lot of people are really confused during the first episode :) Lu Guang (white hair) can look at a picture and instantly see the last 12 hours of that person's life in detail. Cheng Xiaoshi can temporarily possess the body of the person taking the picture. But if he wasn't mentally connected to Lu Guang, he wouldn't know what to do and might really mess up "history", so they work as a team. Their abilities aren't common - they advertise as if they are psychics or shaman, so people have to be searching for unusual help to find them. Cheng's parents disappeared when he was little - they ran the photoshop and the landlord chose to let him stay there out of pity. The girl is the landlord's daughter and Cheng's friend since they were small. With his parents missing for so long, Cheng couldn't help but feel bad for Emma being separated from her parents. So he did a big no-no when he sent the mom that text message. But still, we can't be sure if he really changed much. Emma got fired that day because her boss turned out to be so corrupt and her reputation was ruined by association. It's possible she could have decided to kill herself, whether she ran into a suspicious guy or not. There is a second season of this show supposed to be happening this year. Ooh, I can't wait to see your reactions to the other pilots! it's going to be interesting to see which one hooks you the most. 😁
