I don't know if you picked up on it or remember but Mo Xuanyu is Jin Guangyao's half-brother, so trying to seduce him was a Very Bad Idea. I don't know if you've ever seen the memes but Jin Ling has a lot of uncles - Jin Guangyao, Mo Xuanyu, and Jiang Cheng by blood but through the sworn brotherhood, also Nie Mingue and Lan Xichen - which adds Nie Huiasang and Lan Wangji. But he has only one aunt - Qin Su. Mo Xuanyu was originally at Jin Tower to learn cultivation (the normal way) but got kicked out because he came on to Jin Guangyao - that's when he started learning demonic cultivation. Demonic cultivation doesn't require a Golden Core, so you can (maybe) be good at it a lot faster. You've seen the other guy in white before - the head of the Su Moling clan who always looks like an angry little bitch :)
