Oh yeah I know that now, I did like a study on the Jin family tree after the episode had my head spinning. Wangji was in that cave busy falling in love while Wuxian almost died LMAO, not Wangji daydreaming about his boo ripping his shirt, lol.

He went to Koi Tower (the Jin clan center) to study for a while but got kicked out - apparently for flirting with the new leader, Jin Guangyao (who is also his half-brother - yikes!). That's partly why he was considered crazy. Wuxian's stuck in the body of a real winner, lol. Oh, in this body, he's also a half-uncle to Jin Ling. I think Wangji was remembering how the two of them killed the Turtle monster together. He's so happy to have Wuxian back! Jin Ling has reason to hate both the Ghost General and Wuxian, plus he's only 15, so yes, he's a hot head. He's also been bullied and talked down to because he's an orphan - both parents dead before he was 2 months old. So he thinks he has to prove himself. Wangji can do a spell called "Inquiry" where he can ask questions of spirits and sometimes even call up a vision of a past event. The arm is from a different body, by the way. The arm would also have the curse marks on it if it was Zixun's.
