Chapter 17 - I am Spider Tobey

While Uncle Ben and Aunt May looked at me in astonishment, I continued to recall everything I had done.
Although this world was one of superheroes, there were no supervillains. Rest assured, if there were, I would know.
So the heroes only dealt with thieves, natural disasters, terrorists, and whatever else came their way.
If I simply left Uncle Ben and Aunt May in the world with the powers I gave them, they would be practically invincible. But I must admit, I really wanted to take them to the MCU as badass heroes to shock Tobey, hehe.

"Peter, I can understand that you're Spider-Man, but what does that have to do with the youth thing you mentioned?" Uncle asked, confused, now starting to believe me after the surprising revelation.

"Uncle, everything you've seen Spider-Man do comes from me. All the powers, abilities—everything was created by me. And I discovered how to give back youth along with those powers." I said with a serious look.

Uncle Ben and Aunt May choked upon hearing that. They looked into each other's eyes, and all they had was shock.

Then Uncle Ben took a deep breath, organized his thoughts, and spoke.

"Alright, kid, your aunt and I know you're a genius, but this is something else. Peter, I know I can believe in you, but you have to promise us that whatever it is you're planning, it will be safe for me and your aunt. Even though we've lived long enough, we can't just let you do something on impulse that might go wrong, something I know you’d blame yourself for all your life." Uncle sighed and looked at Aunt May for confirmation, who nodded. He then turned and looked directly into my eyes, waiting for my honest answer.

I pulled off my mask and met his gaze seriously.

"Look, Uncle, if I wasn't sure, I wouldn't have come here to talk about these things. Just like before, all I ask is that you trust me." I said with absolute certainty in my words.

Well, I had run several tests with the serums on death row inmates—whom, by the way, I verified were truly guilty—before offering the serum to my aunt and uncle.

After hearing this, Aunt May and Uncle Ben looked into each other's eyes again, and after a few seconds of silence, they held hands and smiled softly.

"My dear, I still want to live a little longer. The world has been changing rapidly these past few years, and every day, it’s becoming a more beautiful place." Uncle Ben said, his smile warm and eyes filled with affection as he looked at me.

"Yes, what your Uncle Ben said is true, but my main reason is that I want to hold my grandbabies for a little longer, haha." Aunt May joked, but I think she was actually serious.

"Hahaha, Aunt May, it might take a little while, but I promise you’ll see my children in at most 20 years." I said, laughing, though I was being serious—I planned to wait until I returned from the MCU before having kids.

"What? Why so long? Sigh Forget it, you have your own plans. I know you know what you're doing." Aunt May let the subject drop, but I could tell she was a little disappointed that it would take so long.

Luckily, she was about to get a big surprise.

"So let's not waste any time—let’s go!" I said excitedly.

I didn't give them time to think and threw two small gadgets at them, similar to the ones Ant-Man uses to shrink and enlarge objects... but the function of these was to teleport my aunt and uncle directly to a predetermined location.
With a mental command, I teleported as well.

"Uncle, Aunt, this is my base in New York. Be careful what you touch. Follow me, this way." After they snapped out of their shock, I gave a few instructions and had them follow me.

As I answered their questions, I admired the architecture of the base. It was immense and had a futuristic touch.
NBs moved back and forth like black waves, passing through barriers located at the doors of the corridors—when they crossed the barriers, they would shrink or grow. There were all kinds of machines, ships, and robots moving around, yet everything was extremely organized and beautiful.

Ben and May hadn't been able to close their mouths since the beginning of the tour.

After an extensive interrogation and scolding for keeping secrets, we finally reached our destination.

"Okay, I know I shouldn’t have kept things from you, but everyone has their secrets. I don't want to talk about that right now. Do you see those chambers over there? They're called the Cradles of Creation. You just need to lie down there, and soon you'll come out as new people." I explained.

Seeing that I wasn’t willing to discuss my secrets further, my aunt and uncle exchanged helpless glances before doing as I instructed.

Once they lay down nervously, I approached the terminal between the chambers and began typing.

Soon, the cradles closed. I saw the nervous expressions on my aunt and uncle’s faces as they were about to be enclosed in a super-technological metal structure, but they placed their trust in me.

Their nervousness didn’t last long because the cradle put them to sleep.

I looked at the terminal and selected the "Super Soldier V2" option. Then, two open-cylinder structures detached from the terminal.

Turning my right hand, where I wore a golden ring on my ring finger, a vial with a blue liquid suddenly appeared in my palm.

I inserted the vial into one of the cylinders, then took another vial and filled the other.

"AI Chip, begin the process. Make sure nothing goes wrong." I ordered.

[Beep Affirmative, Host.] My loyal assistant responded.

As the process began, I stood nearby, examining for any anomalies.
Even though I was confident, I couldn't afford to be careless when it came to the people I loved.
