Chapter 12 - I am Spider Tobey

Soon, the M7-283 model spaceship had crossed the planet’s orbit.
It was called M7-283 because it was a Mothership model, type 7, generation 283. All of them were created by me and the AI chip over the years.

Fortunately, during the four months of waiting, I built thousands of signal towers around the world, which together could send and receive signals perfectly between Earth and the entire solar system. This was only possible because I was using light and electromagnetic signals to transmit information. It was extremely difficult to find a way for light to carry information without loss, but in the end, nothing is impossible for those who persist, hehe. If not for this, I wouldn’t be able to control the ships and NBs via the AI chip—after all, I need a signal to control them.

The M7-283 ship, which was cloaked, continued its journey. Whenever it passed by an asteroid, it analyzed its composition with its scanner, and if it was useful, it opened a mini hatch and ejected a cloaked mini spaceship, the E3-198.

It was called E3-198 because it was an Explorer model, type 3, generation 198.

The E3-198 landed on the asteroid and opened its hatch. Immediately, thousands of cloaked mini NBs emerged and used the Pym formula to return to their normal size. They then created a cloaking field and began working. That way, no one on Earth would see asteroids being dismantled by the NBs through satellites.

After extracting all the useful materials from the asteroids, the NBs grouped them into a pile, shrank them along with themselves, and then filled the ship with the harvested materials. Another advantage was that they never left materials behind due to lack of space. If something didn’t fit, they simply shrank it even more.

Once everything was ready, as long as there was fuel, they would migrate to other asteroids and mine them. When the fuel level reached a certain point—calculated by the AI chip to be just enough to return to the M7-283—they would fly back to the mothership, enter it, and wait for the return to Earth.

The M7-283 would only return to Earth when all Explorer model ships had come back, which would only happen once their fuel was low. This process took about a month. In fact, with just 1ml of fuel, a micro ship could fly for much longer, but due to its tiny size, its journeys took a long time. That’s why they traveled at speeds close to the speed of light, consuming an absurd amount of gigantified fuel.

And so, a month passed, and the M7-283 finally arrived with the first batch of materials.

For those who don’t know, space is practically a mine of rare materials—many asteroids are full of valuable resources.

"AI chip, have the NBs construct multiple Pym houses and catalog all the materials we acquired on this trip," I commanded the AI chip.

[beep Affirmative.]

Pym houses are just warehouses constantly saturated with Pym particles. That way, there’s no risk of the materials suddenly returning to their original sizes and destroying everything in their path.

A few hours later, everything had been cataloged, and I have to say—the amount of resources from a single trip was absurd.

I won’t list everything, but I’ll just give you a sample so you understand the gravity of the situation. We brought back 975 kg of tritium. Earth has only 11 kg.

Hahahaha, goodbye material shortages!

And that’s how, in just seven months since I created DUM-E with Uncle Ben, I gained the power to create a second full-sized sun. Sigh It’s a shame I can’t tell Uncle Ben and see his reaction to this.

"AI chip, repeat Operation Genesis, but this time using all the materials we have."

Oops, I guess I got a little greedy.

And the worst part is...

I love it.
