2024-01-19 02:37:58 +0000 UTCtemperatures rising DOES have that jazzy beat to it-- nice catch. That's from Qtip coproducing with havoc. in fact, qtip helped havoc produce this albums, and you can hear it specifically in the drums. If you listen to midnight marauders, then listen to this, you will hear a lot of the same drum sounds, even though midnight marauders is more jazzy, and the infamous is more dark, gansgster. Qtip helped havoc a lot with production.

2023-10-02 20:46:20 +0000 UTCShook Ones pt. 2 was the first single off of the album. It introduced the world to the Mobb Deep sound. At the time there was nothing like it, which is one of the reasons it's so popular. I agree that by the time you get to it on the album, it doesn't do that much to set itself apart from the other songs, that are just as good. But imagine if this was the very first thing you heard from Mobb Deep.
