He discovered Drake and Nicki and took them on tour with him to let them see what's it's like and how the masters work and then he goes to jail at the peak of his power and it was basically up to Drake and Nicki to carry the torch while he was gone a year. And boy did they ever. He comes out and Drake and Nicki have basically replaced him as the biggest in the genre. Drake and Nicki both give Wayne constant props and admiration. U can find at least one being thankful for Lil Wayne bar on every album from both of them.
