Just some pauses made it a little like a “aw man” moment you know. But i can’t wait for what you have to say in your additional thoughts video and hope you fall in love with it the more and more u continue to listen over the next couple days. have a great weekend bob! weather is amazing here out west.

I understand your criticism and I really do appreciate that you took the time to share it, but at the same time... if you wanna listen to the album, go listen to the album, ya know? I've been getting some messages about killing a couple key transitions due to pausing, but I literally have no idea they're coming since I'm hearing it for the first time. What I DO need to get better at is rewinding after I pause. Just back things up 10-15 seconds and then play it again just to catch some of the beat switches. I appreciate the feedback, you're not coming off as a dick imo.

I think you may just not be into short repeating sample loops in beats, seeing as you didn’t like Just In Time from The Forever Story, either. Just something I noticed since that one has a similar sample pattern.

2023-04-29 14:57:19 +0000 UTCI don't think its that deep. There was a lot of lyrical meaning throughout the album, which bob analyzed. You have to understand the channel your watching. The lyrics will be read, regardless of the content. And to say Bob killed the amazing sounds by pausing is a pretty big stretch. He gave the production its due by letting it play out a majority of the time and Bob even mentioned that he doesn't want to over analyze etc.

I get what you are into with lyrical analysis and breakdown but i’m gonna be honest i don’t think any single person who has listened to a song on this album thought about the lyrics deeper then surface level at all and this album is such a masterclass in production and there was a lot of key, amazing sounds that were just killed by you pausing to breakdown lyrics about fucking a bitch and getting lit that is just littered throughout the whole album. Not every album that comes out is to pimp a butterfly and needs to be psycho analyzed about don toliver and futures morality. I do appreciate you checking out the album though and nothing but love man honestly. also i do understand this is ur interpretation and how you are taking in this album and i really don’t want to seem like a dick.

I was wondering where it would go after Don’t Kill Civilians. At first I thought it was simply about falling back into the villain lifestyle, but it’s also about the classic human trait of learning the lesson, but being too lazy to actually try and change. Actually impressed. Metro! Get that boom outta my face!
