Bob, you need to react to the deluxe of tyler CMIYGL, it’s short you could squeeze it a monday or smth. Have a good day bob love you

Stormas

listen to mach hommy please!! doesnt even need to be on camera just check out some of his stuff

Victor Chavez

I liked the livestream format, it really helps that your reactions are all one-take and live so it felt the same as usual, plus I have something new to enjoy with the chat window! I don’t think every reaction being livestreamed would be great, but definitely for newer album releases like this it was super fun. Thanks for posting and thanks for requesting feedback and criticism, you’re the best Bob!

Figure I’ll give u suggestions for May seeing as u got a couple lined up for next month already. Ima give u them by decade. For the 80s: N.W.A. “Straight Outta Compton”. For 90s 2Pac “All Eyez On Me”. For 2000s Clipse “Hell Hath No Fury”. For the 2010s A$AP Rocky “Live Love A$AP”.

Jay Dog

Also just watched the video, I think you're right about people going "eh I'll just watch it live so I don't have to pitch in and support."

Anon Arizona

In terms of the lyrics, I've always really appreciated you having the lyrics on screen. I have a hard time with lyrics generally, and I never feel the need to go read them, but when I watch your videos I often read the lyrics with you and figure out the meaning of songs I may have heard dozens of times. I also watch Turning the Tables, and with them I often find myself opening up genius on my other monitor, but I always appreciated you having the lyrics on screen.

Yarden

I watched the Patreon video, couldn't make the live. I like it! For me the chat on screen was a distraction, probably in the minority so I don't mind it being on screen, just saying for me personally it was a little distracting. I do agree with the other comment that said lives would be cool for hyped up albums. In this case it was very cool and fun. My first listen was watching the Patreon video and it was cool and fun seeing chat's reaction along with yours and reacting myself. I feel like you can go deeper and more personal though if the albums are listened to without the livestream. And then for albums like this or other hyped up ones you can do a livestream reaction as like a treat for the fans and for them to be able to react alongside with you. You could maybe try streaming an older album and see what the vibes are like though, just to test it out. I don't think they would but maybe those will be just as fun as new hyped up album reactions. Also as the rest of the comments have already pointed out, try to make sure the lyrics can be read so we can follow along with you. Thank you for this live though was fun! Danny Brown followed you for a reason man you doing amazing killing this reaction shit on YouTube! Always get hyped waiting for a new video! Much love!

I actually really enjoy it. I don't know about others, but I often come back to rewatch the reactions anyways. So even without the exclusive uncut reactions I still get value from Patreon. Plus, streaming is going to net you more attention, open more opportunities and is another avenue to connect with your community. It doesn't hinder the experience. Especially with the format you figure out at the end of the stream, as to where to put chat, and the lyrics. Everything else is extremely minor and with time you will get comfortable with the format. Plus I appreciate you always looking for ways to improve or to give your community different experiences. Keeps it all fresh, but also familiar.

Wesley

Stick with it. It's an adjustment for some but streaming is superior. And you already have a loyal community, should be natural for you.

FuzzyDunlop

100% video format felt fluid and similar to past videos

Lane McDonald

yep…i caught the very beginning on lunch and then missed the rest in meetings…as others have said it wasn’t a problem as chat didn’t seem to detract from your usual routine

Spencer Thompson

The stream was great. I VERY MUCH like the chat on screen! Just need bigger lyrics. The video experience remained intact. Actually i think the chat adds a nice touch.

Magnus Jensen

Hey mate, I thought the livestream was great but should only be for new albums so as to catch the hype like you said. Hip-hop journey videos should be kept to recordings only in my opinion. Keep up the great work!

Daniel Perks

I know others are saying they don't like the chat on screen but I actually like it bc I almost never make the streams and I like to see the interactions between you and chat and just what they're saying in general. Probably the unpopular opinion tho🤷🏽‍♂️

EEF

I was only able to stream part of the reaction live with you, so in that aspect I was bummed that I missed part of it. I went back to watch the video afterwards to see what I missed and it kinda felt like watching a recording of a football game I already knew the outcome of. So definitely a bit of FOMO there- but I understand you can’t record a livestream around peoples work schedule. I like the idea of having your chat available to ask questions for classic albums- sounds awesome

Ian Lewis

Live was great. As a viewer I don’t always have to look at it if I don’t want to, but it adds to the reaction. The only thing is that the lyrics couldn’t be seen. Maybe make the lyrics page bigger and cover up the too part of the chat or find a way to make it bigger and place half the page behind the chat

Josh

I watched the stream and the video and they were both great. I definitely preferred the live stream just because it is cool to feel like me and chat are listening along with you. I do agree that it should be for new albums as it makes it feel more special. Keep up the great work Bob!

Max Lawrence

honestly mate you're smashing it, I like to see creators experiment with the format of their content and this seems to have paid off, even if it isn't a permanent fixture on the channel, live streaming is a great avenue for more interactive content and to diversify content, maybe just outside the realms of complete album reactions. only complaint is the size of the lyrics during the live, but i'm sure you've been told about that enough times, also a small moderation team is pretty much a must while streaming otherwise a few bad eggs in chat can completely derail a stream

Ollie Thomas

I’m just trying to get into discord

Inglewood

Keep it up Bob ❤️ either way it’s good. Twitch is nice for new release. And the lyrics are now bigger so it’s perfect 👍

Stormas

Definitely would prefer the stream in 1080p w/ lyrics as I read along as well. Didn't mind chat, but I'm a troll at heart

SAM-WISE GAMGEE

That's the current plan

Bob_the_Poppop

Thank you for this 👍

Bob_the_Poppop

As someone who always just listens to the MP3 afterwards, I felt it turned out just fine. No difference from your normal uncut reactions from what I could tell.

Daniel Rose

I loved it. I'd also like the lyrics to be a little larger as well. That would be my only gripe but a small one

Jared

I think streaming was solid for the most part as somebody who views the video version. I would definitely say the lyrics size was an issue as already stated, but I also didn't like having the chat on screen. It really doesn't add anything and if anything it distracts me from what I actually want to watch.

Sam Shroyer

I think streaming a new release when u can is the way to go. It will bring u lots of traffic cause in the first week of a release people are usually binging reactions. Your reaction would've been in the thousands of viewers probably had u properly named it😂😂😂

John

Only complaint is the lyrics being too small. It was very fun you should definitely do it again

pedro

Personally, I think you should do it with new album releases. Maybe leave the others to be pre-recorded?

tyger

Honestly loved it, the live reaction and experience this new album with 300+ people for the first time is awesome! It was really cool seeing you do your thing and all of us just interacting in the chat! Would love to see it again, especially for new albums. But maybe worth to try a older album to see how people react to that, hoping no one spoils or anything. But yeah loved it a lot, and yeah Bob we love to read the lyrics 😂

Tomek

I enjoyed tuning in live while I was at work. The connection was super laggy but it was a cool experience. I'd be cool with more like this! React to more Peggy tho thats my biggest request

Josh Burcham

While the stream was great and it felt just like a normal reaction during the entire reaction I was just thinking “man I really wish chat wasn’t on screen”. It definitely damaged my viewing experience a bit and the fact I couldn’t see the lyrics didn’t help either since I like reading along. But overall it was fine if you wanna continue doing it. I just don’t like how instrucive the chat can be at times to my viewing experience.

RINGER 13

Didn’t get through all of it yet but I think everyone’s sentiment of the lyrics needing to be bigger is for sure the best feedback, a lot of people listen to all your reactions whether we know the album or not, so the ones we don’t know I like to read along with you

ryan cortes

I really love when you do these reactions live. My only issue is when you did the stream because most people are at work/school around that time. I also know it could be harder for you to do it later in the day, so just do what works for you though . Loved the reaction.

Carter Smith

I watched "Scaring The Hoes" on youtube and really enjoyed it, I didn't feel like you let chat distract you at all. But I agree with the request of making the lyrics page a little bigger.

Stefan Borglycke

i loved the experiance if your really struggling maybe messege someone like jon denton ? or any other people you talk to that stream.

James Nash

Personally I've loved the live reactions. The reaction to Ugly with your wife is probably my favourite reaction so far! To me it all feels pretty flawless and I think the video experience has been the same.
