Yea I think it would be equally interesting to start blindly with Phoenix just knowing some basic info on the group and where they were at in that time then later see where they came from. He could see their progression in a backwards way similar to how he plans on listening to Mac’s music. Floss reaction is NEEDED😩

Bob you could just listen to injury reserve’s “by the time I get to Phoenix” first then you can react to the other ones later! I know a lot of people including me would love to see you react to their other albums. They are amazing records and very different from BTTIGTP.

So excited for this! Highly recomend checking out her first album, God Has Nothing to Do With This, its only 20 min and the first track samples Black Sabath, which is why its not on streaming just Youtube now. Also her new album comes out on Halloween. A note on Song of Sinners, the line "I see glory in conversion" she's specifially talking about being put through conversion therapy, aka "pray the gay away" therapy, which is tortureous. She's wanting the glory of God, so forms that feedback loop you mentioned. "I want to be loved, I'm a good person tho, so how do I get that? Guess I go back to this torture"
