Thanks to Patrons who reported login or unlocking issues, a Patreon API issue was found last night and fixed a few hours later. I'm hoping my fix is permanent but forum posts from other Patreon Creators seem to indicate that using the same style of fix did not help their own systems. I will keep monitoring.
Translation: There was a Patreon problem so if you had issues in the last few days, please login to Sprucemarks and it should unlock now.
Launch Summary
The new Patreon supported version of Sprucemarks was launched nearly 14 days ago and so far, so good. Sure, there was a rash of one star reviews on the Chrome Web Store from people who are being less than supportive but, that was expected. No, the only real issue looking back was an error that affected 3 people who wanted to donate and who already had Patreon accounts. That was totally an "oops" on my part and luckily it was easy to fix. Things have been good since.
Translation: Yours truly made an "oops" that adversely affected 3 people during the launch. As far as accidents go, not bad. ^_^
Upcoming Changes
I am absolutely lavishing the next version of Sprucemarks with all sorts of refactoring attention. Improving anything and everything behind the scenes in preparation for more visible, and admittedly probably more exciting to everyone else features slated for later this year.
Translation: Thanks to your support, I am rewriting nearly everything in Sprucemarks so the source code is easier to understand, maintain, and improve.
