Now that you’ve heard all his albums up to date. U got to listen to his cousin Baby Keem. He’s a newer artist that’s been blowing up over the last couple years. Would be interesting.

Jay Dog

I’m glad you mentioned “Have a Cigar” from wish you were here, that is an immediate connection I made as well to this and TPAB. Pink Floyd has a bigger influence on a lot of great rappers than you really realize

Bit late to the party but honestly never gave this much more than a few passive listens when it dropped. Watching you listen to track 5 though and I got that all the verses were from the point of view of God looking at humanity. Kendricks verse is God waiting outside our house contemplating wiping us out. Punches verse is God having doubts about how altruistic he really is and the last verse between Jay Rock and Kendrick is God looking at humanity going Jesus do I even know what I'm doing? Will I even see myself at the pearly gates?

Paulie Walnuts

Haha its cool. I don't blame you for wanting to listen to the new Kendrick project right away. Whatever drops is gonna be super interesting. I just think its funny that new albums went from 2 weeks to 1 to right away

Idk if anyone has said this yet but Part 2 in “Untitled 07” is produced by Egypt, the kid talking before Kendrick. It’s actually Swiss Beatz and Alicia Keys’ kid. He was about 5-6 when he made the beat and it’s so crazy cause in my opinion that has to be one of Kendrick’s best verses ever. Also please react to Overly Dedicated!!!

Tapes

Yes

Thank u I’ve been recommending O.D as well!!! And he should definitely react to The Heart series altogether!!!!

Tapes

I'll probably give that a listen or two before the new album drops.

Bob_the_Poppop

Oh cool

Bob_the_Poppop

What's crazy is I hadn't even heard of these Heart parts until today

Bob_the_Poppop

Nice. I've give it a watch. That's a great song, too

Bob_the_Poppop

That's fair. I've definitely been putting all my focus on Kendrick and his point of view.

Bob_the_Poppop

Track 6 is a cool track, for sure. I'm glad he released these collection of songs.

Bob_the_Poppop

could be wrong but i remember seeing it mentioned that he wrote untitled 3 the same day he performed it

Psykopomp

As for Kendrick’s new album I’d say do it whenever you’d rather listen to it. I don’t think a week difference will really do much. If people want to sit with the album before watching your reaction they still can.

Mr. Bigweld

I think for the new album you should do whatever you think is best for views and those that want to wait and live with the album a bit before watching can still do that

Denzel

I definitely appreciate you taking the time to cover as much of Kendrick as possible before the new project. If you’re able to fit it in sometime in the future, I would highly recommend the Black Panther album. While it’s not officially his project, it’s a TDE project with his fingerprints all over it. For me, it’s almost as impactful as the movie itself, which is saying something. I assume it has been recommended before, so add my vote to it.

Ali Shaheed Mohammed (producer of track 6) is a member of A Tribe Called Quest

Lil Wayne. That’s it.

I'm sure Bob is seeing the requests for the "The Heart pts 1-4" by now, as much as this rearranged schedule and "Untitled Unmastered" is appreciated already... Either react to them (recommended) or just hear them for yourself... These songs go so well together with his albums, chronicling what the feeling was around the time of their releases. "The Heart pt 3" as he was about to drop GKMC is still one of my favorite Kendrick tracks to this day.

Stefan Borglycke

A live performance I would recommend is Untitled 8 on Jimmy Fallon. The live version has so much energy.

Luis Ventura

I love this project and am excited you decided to do it...but (insert argument for "Cruel Summer" in comparison to "Untitled Unmastered")

FuzzyDunlop

I would only recommend the heart series, he would release those songs right before his albums came out

R G

Untitled 6 is one of my favorite Kendrick tracks. Him and Cee-Lo sound great together with the drum backing and Kendricks verse is great. As someone who likes Damn but doesnt think its even close to TPAB or GKMC, i much prefer Untitled,Unmastered. Even as a album of throwaways and not fully realized tracks, it sounds way better to me muscially and i enjoy the lyrics more

Mark Mountain

I believe you're being to literal when talking about Kendricks lyrics, a lot of perception is coming from the view of black youth.

CHRISTOPHER RUSSELL

Kendrick heart series would be another good little thing to do b4 the album(wouldn't be surprised if he releases 1 b4 the album) part 1 is b4 the Kendrick Lamar EP part 2 is b4 Overly Dedicated part 3 is b4 GKMC Part 4 is b4 Damn.

Dylan Woods

I highly recommend watching the live performance of Untitled 3. He was the last ever musical guest on the Colbert Report and performed this before TPAB came out. https://youtu.be/kgkohc564Us

Brendan B

Gotta do Kendricks Heart series

Have you listened to Overly Dedicated and The Heart series (Parts 1-4)? I’d definitely recommend doing that if you haven’t. Even the Kendrick Lamar EP is worth checking out, but I wouldn’t say it’s quite as essential as the others. Overly Dedicated is a full project, so a reaction video would be a lot to ask there, but there’s a YouTube video with all four parts of The Heart series that’s only 19 minutes long. I can only speak for myself, but I’d love to see you react to that if you get a chance.

Chance

no way

Untitled 05 is my favorite Kendrick song No competition
