Remember to consider lesser known films, films outside our channel direction, or films that may get demonetised on YouTube.
For clarity, our channel direction is relatively mainstream female led and family movies, mostly from the late 90s and onwards, so anything outside of that might be on the table 👍 Also, please limit your suggestions to 2 movies, so everybody has a fair chance.
We'll post our Monthly Movie Draw and the poll in a week, as usual 😊

2024-08-21 09:11:03 +0000 UTC'Psycho' (1960) As always, I am incredibly indecisive about my choices. I kept going back and forth between horror thriller (something suspenseful like 'Psycho') and something more like comedy or drama. I am still on a horror kick so I went with that genre. I continued to have a hard time choosing a film, but ended up on a film that made me "uniquely" anxious. Most films set up things before the suspense starts, but I was feeling anxious the moment the film started and it continued for almost the entire film. I have never had a film do that to me. I am very curious if you would feel the same. I thought this would be a bit of a generic jump scare slasher film from the promo I saw when it came out. I watched it last year after someone told be that it was not like that and was a good thriller. If either of you have seen it, please tell me so I can pick something else. My second choice is 'The Invisible Man' (2020). It is inspired from the H.G. Wells story. They did a film in 1933 about it and is one of the Universal Classic Monster films. This film is quite a bit different than those stories and a sensitive topic is the foundation of the story. The film does not go into details about it, but I still want to mention it. A very short nondetailed synopsis is a woman being hunted by an invisible man. ***SPOILERS/More detailed synopsis*** It is about a woman being hunted by an invisible man after her abusive ex-boyfriend's suicide and her trying to prove it.

2024-08-18 17:41:58 +0000 UTCHi Maria!👋🏽Even if it's not chosen, I would be curious of you opinion should you watch it. I love hearing fresh perspective. It was ground breaking at the time. There were not many female action leads. We only really had Sarah Connor in Terminator movies and Ellen Rioley in the Alien movies.
