edit: there were so many great character moments in this episode that I totally missed the opportunity to talk about prom dresses and overall looks.
Cordy looks smoking. I love the dress, I’d wear it for sure, and the make up. I’d change the hair a little bit.
Willow looks stunning. Very much her style, both the dress and the hair. Feels so right.
Buffy looks beautiful, but after Cordy and Willow's styling, her dress and her hair feels a bit like a let down. I get that her style has changed in season three, and the dress reflects that and it’s lovely, but her hair is so disappointing. Straightened like that with those hair strands separated. She’s had so many good hairstyles and that’s what they chose 😞
Honorable mention: Anya looks good. There’s something about her dress that I really like and something I don’t. But it suits her, so I’m all good there.
All the guys wore pretty much the same tux with slight adjustments, which I think were good 👍🏻 but there’s not much to say 😁 - Maria

Per your notes, I think Buffy's prom looked pretty good, considering she just fought four he'll hounds and psychotic nerd. LOL I am one of the few who never lijed the umbrella. I don't know why. I just never liked it. A friend of mine was an extra at the prom. She's wearing a punk dress. Once you pay attention to her, conto city goes out the window, as she's in just about ever single shot, occasionally coming from an impossible direction. She had a good time. She was my "date" to the two wrap parties I went to because she already met everyone and wasn't phased by famous people. I think she went to high school with Larry Bagby, who played Larry the gay football player.

That was a good way to sort of close off their continued snarking before they face the Mayor's BS later. Regarding the songs - argh I need a fast forward button, there's a really good song in season 4 that has been a regular on my playlist ever since I first watched Buffy a decade ago. I can't wait to see you react to that ep later. Back to this episode, Buffy nabbed the 3 hounds at the school, but wasn't there a 4th when she went to Tucker's? One was still locked up?? Its not confirmed if she put down that one then pursued the roaming ones...
