Would an 8 year old really have a booster seat in a car? I feel like the stylistic choice to draw children as extra small seems to have some odd effects here.

2024-08-16 00:50:33 +0000 UTCHey, not sure if this is just a result of me playing too much Cyberpunk, but is anyone else curious about what things like prosthetics, cybernetics, and such are like in this universe? As far as I remember we haven’t seen any cyborgs or people with some kind of technological implant in their body or anything similar. The technology is advanced enough to make human-like AI, so I can imagine they’d have the capability of stuff like that. I could even see Sterling having some Adam Smasher-like goon working for them in secret.

I was maybe a preteen when she flipped the script and told me all the things I should be capable of and responsible for - despite never teaching me how. It must've been super frustrating for both of us; it definitely was for me.

They’ll probably still keep her around but just have her do less work around the house, or heck they may even pseudo/outright adopt Emmy after they’ve realized how much they value her as a person and not an appliance. That’s what I personally hope will happen.

2024-08-12 03:36:13 +0000 UTCYes, I'm seeing the same in these last episodes. Though I find it odd since Emmy seemed to be the kind to encourage good behaviors in her. Maybe responsibility wasn't one of them or maybe the parents are misinterpreting what's happening to Madeline.

The morning after she draws the 'get well soon' card, I think Madeline was lied to saying Emmy was in a different room at Sterling and couldn't be found. Then that same day at night she asks about the card and she's told Emmy was sent to Switzerland. So she couldn't have gotten the card not even from her perspective. Did she ask anyway on purpose or am I missing something?
