2024-06-23 22:26:38 +0000 UTCI understand how it might be strange to hearπ Sydney isnβt cold in comparison to Kyiv in winter, but apartments in Sydney can be freezing, I found. Ukraine has a temperate climate, so we have warm weather, cold weather, hot, rainy, cloudy, windy and well-defined seasons. Itβs almost never hot and cold at the same time, though, like it can be here in autumn with hot sun and strong cold wind. Ukrainian winds and rain are not as strong, the humidity isnβt as high. And most importantly, when it gets to -10-15 Celsius in winter and +30 in summer, good insulation comes in handy. Plus, central heating and other types of heating. Iβm used to a way colder winter outside and a way warmer winter inside π - Maria

For some reason it's just really odd to hear someone from a colder climate/country is feeling cold in an Australian winter π Unless it's a heating thing which I totally get, my house is open plan for the living, dining and kitchen area with no built-in heating so it's just a waste of money and energy to run a space heater out there ππ₯Ά so layering and having a small heater in the bedroom are my only options
