My Mantra for 2025 is “don’t rush!” as I feel I rushed every project in 2024. With that said, I’m just finishing off the bust for my next tutorial. I’ve just made this little chat video to talk about my plans this year. Any questions please comment below!

On a slight tangent, changing how you work and finding yourself sat in a room with only yourself for company can be quite hard. Making sure you have good separation from home and work, getting out to do stuff that is not work (but not stacking it on your bike) and seeing people in the flesh have all kept me relatively sane. 😂

Deep dive tutorials covering artistic process, choices around light, colour, texture etc, and the ‘psychology’ of painting are exactly what we want to see here 😆. You mentioned commission painting and while I know you’re not keen on it, I would be interested to hear more about how the process works and what the dynamics are if you feel like talking about it in the podcast, just for the sake of curiosity.
